Amendments in Scheme of Training Scout & Guide Wing ….reg.

NOTIFICATION OF THE AMENDMENTS 

MADE IN THE SCHEME OF 

TRAINING (SCOUT WING)

The amendments are to be incorporated and applicable with immediate effect.

         The members of KVS BS&G Trainers Team are requested to kindly ensure to communicate the amendments to all the District and Local level functionaries meticulously. 

CHAPTER-1V

8. HONOURABLE CHARGES

(9) The Insignia
3 (a) The Hon'ble Charge and the beads shall remain the property of the National
Headquarters and shall be returned to the Dy.Director (Scouts) Leader Training
 on ceasing to function or on request by the appropriate authority.
 (iii) Conditions for Renewal
 ALT & LT should run the Unit (Give the attested copy of warrant with Biennial Report)
1. ALT: Any one of the following to be completed within 2 years:
a) Assist or conduct for the whole period at least two Basic courses or one
 Advance course
b) Produce 2 Golden Arrow Cub / 2 Rashtrapati Scout/ 2 Rashtrapati Rover as
 the case may be.
c) Assist one HWB Course.
d) Assist or conduct two specialized courses at Regional /National level.

2. LT: Any one of the following to be completed within 2 years:
a) Assist or conduct for the whole period at least Two Advance courses in the
 Concerned section.
b) Assist or conduct for the whole period one HWB / Pre ALT courses in the
 Concerned section.
c) Conduct 2 Basic Courses.
d) Conduct one Basic and one Advanced course.
e) Produce Two Golden Arrow / Two Rashtrapati Scouts / Two Rashtrapati
 Rovers as the case may be.
g) Assist or conduct 2 Regional / National Level Adult Training courses.
 (Give the attested copy of the same with Biennial Report)
3. ALT and LT should qualify Re-orientation Course once in 4 years.
3 (a) The Hon'ble Charge and the beads shall remain the property of the National
Headquarters and shall be returned to the Dy.Director (Scouts) Leader Training
 on ceasing to function or on request by the appropriate authority.
(b). If any Trainer is involved in any illegal activities/against the Bharat Scouts &
Guides, his Hon'ble Charge will be withdrawn by the National Headquarters.
( C ). A full time Professional should surrender his Hon'ble Charge to the Organization
 at the time of his retirement/termination/during suspension/resignation/VRS
 from his service as the Hon'ble Charge will automatically be invalid
(d). For retired Professional / Trainers who are having good conduct and physically
 fit. If he wants to work for the movement and on basis of running unit, his
 Hon'ble charge may be continue on the recommendation of State.

Once again we would like to remind you for the Registration of Prime Minister Shield Competition for the year 2013- 2014 still you have a time to register the units by 30^th May 2013 for the year 2013 – 2014.

All the State Associations are requested to inform the interested units to send the applications in the prescribed format with full details along with Rs. 10/- per unit to the National Headquarters, New Delhi latest 30^th May 2013.

Asia Pacific Region Prize Giving event at KVS (HQ)

Sh. Avinash Dikshit, Commissioner, KVS (HQ), N. Delhi, presented the 2nd Prize of 10th Asia- Pacific Region Photo Contest to Scout Anil Kumar, K V Bantalab (Jammu) who participated in the contest. 

The event was conducted in the office of worthy Commissioner. 

  

  The scouts & guides of K V Bantalab have participated in a project on Community Development in the Slum areas.

             Since the warrant numbers are essential for camps, kindly send the list immediately, so that the details of warrant numbers could be sent by 8^th April, 2013.
