Sub: Celebration of Cub/ Bulbul Utsav.

Sir/ Madam,

This is in continuation to this office letter no. F.240353/2012-KVS (JR)- Acad./ BS&G/ dated 01.04.2013 regarding Minutes of Meeting of Executive Committee of KVS State, Div. Association of BS&G, Jammu Division held on 06.03.2013.

Cub/ Bulbul Utsav is to be celebrated at Cluster Level on 22nd February, 2014 to commemorate the birthday of Lord Baden Powell, the founder of the movement.

‐ A scarf, a woggle and a certificate of participation should be given to all the participants.

‐ No. of participants: Single Section KVs = 24 Students; Two or more Section KVs=48 students.

‐ In no case the students shall travel more than 20 KM to attend the Utsav.

‐ In such cases the remaining Vidyalayas will collaborate with the neighbouring Vidyalayas with in limits or celebrate it independently. There will be no restriction on the number of registered cub/ bulbul participants in such cases.

‐50% DA as admissible will be spent on their food and refreshments. All the expenditure will be made out of VVN by the Vidyalaya where the activity is being conducted and the same is to be re‐ imbursed from the KVS Regional Fund of BS&G against original bills/ vouchers etc. within one month after the completion of the event.

‐ The venues will be decided by the concerned Cluster Heads.

‐Thinking Day will also be celebrated at Vidyalaya Level on 22nd February, 2014.

‐Reports and photographs on both activities should be sent to the Regional Office by 15^th  March 2014, for publication in the News Letter and BLOG of KVS (JR) on the activities of BS&G.
